About me
I co-founded Bioptimus in late 2023, where I am now the VP of research. Our goal is to build universal foundational models for biomedical applications.
Prior to this, I was a Senior research scientist at Google DeepMind where I studied how to gauge a model's own uncertainty around its predictions, with applications to protein design.
Education
I received my PhD from MIT, advised by Suvrit Sra. My thesis focused on negatively dependent measures, which use Strongly Rayleigh polynomials to encode desirable properties in distributions over subsets of diverse items.
I also minored in cosmology under the guidance of Alan Guth 🛰️
